There are two ways to mark the file as urgent.  The Quikscribe Recorder software allows you to easily program the a button on the hand control microphone (such as Philips SpeechMike) to “Send” the file to a default transcription location.  By just holding the Send button for 2 seconds you can easily mark the file as URGENT.  OR - if you have the Send File panel enabled, you may select the desired destination, and click the drop-down box to mark the file as URGENT.

The transcriptionist then receives a red flag notification that an urgent file is waiting to be transcribed, and the urgent file is highlighted in red and placed at the top of the queue.
